Federal authorities are now getting involved after a brutal assault on a Texas woman that police say has sparked online threats and growing concern in the community.
The attack happened outside Whiskey J’s nightclub in Longview, Texas, where a woman says she was beaten by a group of suspects allegedly chanting “Free Karmelo.” Police say one suspect, 21-year-old Ciarrianne Fuller of Longview, has been arrested and charged with assault. She was booked on a $20,000 bond.
The case has drawn wider attention because the chant appears to reference Karmelo Anthony, whose murder conviction has inspired activists challenging the jury’s decision. Anthony was convicted after killing 17-year-old Austin Metcalf at a high school track meet in Frisco, Texas, last year.
According to the victim’s account, the suspects allegedly said they were going to target “the smallest white girl they could find.” Police have not announced a hate-crime charge, but officials say they are taking the matter seriously.
Longview Police Public Information Officer LaDarian Brown said the FBI is now involved because of online conversations about retaliation, division, and attacks. He said those statements are being reviewed, while also assuring residents there is no current threat to the public.
This is the predictable consequences of the rise of Black Lives Matter, which amplified anti-white hate based on envy and ignorance. Karmelo Anthony is the new thug du jour of this low IQ, civilization-destroying movement. They will attempt to make a hero out of this lowlife and use it to inflame racial tensions. This is what happens when multiculturalism takes hold of society. The 2nd Amendment has never been more important than it is right now for self-respecting Americans who refuse to submit to the worst amongst us.
