Earlier this week, Journalist Cam Higby released a treasure trove of information from anti-ICE Signal groups in what is being called “Signal Gate.” These groups are being used by far-left domestic terrorists to coordinate operations to interfere with ICE’s legally mandated mission to deport illegal aliens from the United States.
Coordinated Operations
The Signal leaks show that anti-ICE domestic terrorism is well-coordinated. Mobile patrols of these terrorists look for suspicious vehicles and record the license plates. The plate numbers are sent to “plate checkers” who compare them with a database to verify if the vehicle is used by ICE. These mobile patrols will also get the plates of vehicles seen in ICE operations, so the database can be updated. Once an ICE vehicle has been identified, a central dispatch sends insurrectionists to the location to impede operations.
Insurrectionists are also given formalized training, although Higby was not able to identify what exactly this entailed. However, they are trained to give a SALUTE report when ICE is sighted. A SALUTE report originates from the US Military and is used to report formations of enemy troops. It stands for Size, Activity, Location, Uniform, Time and Equipment.
Local Government Coordination
In a document released by Higby on Tuesday, it appears that local government officials are attempting to threaten police officers who assist with ICE. The Twin Cities Democratic Socialists of America solicited media from the public about any local or state employees that were working with ICE. The document gave instructions for how and where to upload the media, and encouraged people to share the information with the ACLU.
High Level Democrat Staffers Involved
High leveld Democrat staffers are coordinating the effort. Amanda Koehler, a paid protest organizer, Minnesota State Senate Candidate and campaign strategist for Tim Walz has been coordinating efforts in these groups.
It was alleged earlier that Minnesota Lt. Governor Peggy Flannigan was in the Signal groups, but Higby has backtracked on a positive identification.
Not Protests
It is clear that these are not protests protected by the First Amendment. They are active operations to impede Federal Law Enforcement officers from carrying out their lawful duties. Insurrectionists and domestic terrorists receive training, give military-style reports and are coordinated by a centralized dispatch in order to prevent ICE from deporting illegal aliens.
They are keenly aware that there are illegal activities going on, as the same document that solicited media of state and local employees working with ICE also advised “It is strongly advised not to submit video in which you or others who aren’t law enforcement were engaging in illegal behavior.”
The Road to Victory
The way we win this battle is by winning the midterms, and delivering RINO-proof majorities in both the House and Senate. We need margins large enough such that weak Republicans cannot sabotage our legislative efforts to require things such as Voter ID at the polls or end Birthright Citizenship.
After the midterms are won, ICE will be free to operate with fewer impediments in Minnesota. Every day these domestic terrorists disrupt the daily lives of centrists or apolitical individuals pushes them closer to the Republican Party and MAGA. We can win this war if we have the patience not to overreact, the wisdom about which battles to fight, and the strength to stand up to the new Confederacy forming in blue states.
