On Tuesday during the hearing to censure Democratic Rep. Stacey Plaskett (Virgin Islands, a non voting seat) over a text exchange with Jeffrey Epstein in 2019, Rep. Jasmine Crockett of Texas accused EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin, Mitt Romney, former President George W. Bush and the McCain-Palin campaign of receiving donations from Jeffrey Epstein.
However, this was a different Jeffrey Epstein than the infamous pedophile. The Jeffrey Epstein who donated to the campaigns of many prominent Republicans is a New York Physician (although the villainous Epstein has contributed to some Republicans in the past). The donations to Zeldin came after the child raping Jeffrey Epstein allegedly committed suicide.
“Yes Crockett, a physician named Dr. Jeffrey Epstein (who is a totally different person than the other Jeffrey Epstein) donated to a prior campaign of mine. NO FREAKIN RELATION YOU GENIUS!!!” Zeldin tweeted out in response.
The hearing to censure Rep. Plaskett failed, with three Republicans voting with Democrats on a 209 – 214 vote and 3 Republicans voting “present.” The Democrats continue to attempt to use the Epstein files to attack Republicans while protecting their own party members. The vast majority of Epstein’s campaign contributions were to Democrats.
Populist Sentinel has reported on Rep. Plaskett’s immense stupidity and how pathetic Democrats rallied around her to help the DEI faux-Congresswoman skirt accountability:
“The messages released by the House Oversight Committee show Plaskett receiving orders regarding the questioning of a witness brought up in a hearing against President Trump, demonstrating yet again that Epstein was a Trump hater all along.
Plaskett gave an address to Congress where she played the victim and claimed she did nothing wrong.
“I got a text from Jeffrey Epstein, who at the time was my constituent. It was not public knowledge at that time that he was under federal investigation, and who was sharing information with me,” Plaskett said.
Epstein had been convicted of soliciting sex with a minor over a decade before Plaskett exchanged text messages with him. Other Democrats, such as the infamous Trump hater Rep. Jamie Raskin of Maryland, flocked to her defense as well.
“I don’t think there’s any rule here against taking a phone calls from a constituent [Jeffrey Epstein] during a hearing… I still don’t see what the charge is. Where is the ethical transgression? … You should think about what is the principle behind this rush to judgment,” Raskin said.”
Expect more Democrats to humiliate themselves as Epstein’s communications are better understood as his files are released.
