Rep. Stacey Plaskett of the Virgin Islands narrowly avoided a censure vote from Congress after text messages released from deceased pedophile Jeffrey Epstein shows how she took orders from him while giving questioning at a Congressional hearing in 2019.
Rep. Don Bacon of Nebraska, Rep. Lance Gooden of Texas and Rep. Dave Joyce of Ohio were the three Republicans who inexplicably joined the Democrats in refusing to censure Plaskett after she was revealed to be a pawn of the child sex fiend.
The messages released by the House Oversight Committee show Plaskett receiving orders regarding the questioning of a witness brought up in a hearing against President Trump, demonstrating yet again that Epstein was a Trump hater all along.
Plaskett gave an address to Congress where she played the victim and claimed she did nothing wrong.
“I got a text from Jeffrey Epstein, who at the time was my constituent. It was not public knowledge at that time that he was under federal investigation, and who was sharing information with me,” Plaskett said.
Epstein had been convicted of soliciting sex with a minor over a decade before Plaskett exchanged text messages with him. Other Democrats, such as the infamous Trump hater Rep. Jamie Raskin of Maryland, flocked to her defense as well.
“I don’t think there’s any rule here against taking a phone calls from a constituent [Jeffrey Epstein] during a hearing… I still don’t see what the charge is. Where is the ethical transgression? … You should think about what is the principle behind this rush to judgment,” Raskin said.
What Raskin deliberately omits was that Plaskett was seeking counsel from Epstein and doing his bidding through the text messages exchanged while she was sitting in House committee. Expect many more damning revelations to come out regarding Democrats and Jeffrey Epstein in the upcoming weeks.
