In text messages leaked by Human Events, Democrat Sen. Reuben Gallego of Arizona blasted his own party. Senator Gallego called the the Democrats the “not fun party” and even appreciated a meme mocking brutish Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro (D-CT).
The leaked exchange started with an unknown individual telling Gallego that it was time for someone with a “cool head” to rise to the top of his party.
“Oh man, have you met my party?” Gallego replied before adding, “I have been yelling at them this whole time.”
The unknown sender sent a meme of Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro of Connecticut with the caption “If erectile dysfunction had a face.” The unknown individual added “this is how the world views many of them (the Democrats).”

“They aren’t wrong!” replied Gallego. “We look like the ‘not fun’ party. Always telling and correcting people. Not allowing (sic) no men to men. Women to be hot. We used to be the party of sec (sic), drugs and rock and roll.”
“I’m going to crack up when I go to the Capitol Hill club…and you’re there hanging just so you can hang out with hot beautiful people,” the unknown individual said, pointing out that Democrats have become the party of the uncool.
“Now Dem women look like Dem men and Dem men look like women,” replied Gallego.

The Democrats have become so mockable and out-of-touch, even far-left “progressive” voices in the party like Gallego can’t ignore it. But the question is, what will he do about it?
The only way he can effect change within his own party is to stand up to the far-left lunatics who are holding the Democrat Party hostage. According to the website Progressive Punch, Gallego votes with the far left 80% of the time and has a “B” rating. If Gallego is to have any chance at stopping the insanity, he will have to risk his life, his liberty and his standing within his own party.
It is easy for a journalist to stand back and tell a politician they need to show bravery. But if Gallego truly wants to have that “Mr. Smith Goes to Washington” moment all politicians secretly crave, he must realize bravery has a price. And if he isn’t willing to risk everything, then he isn’t the man to lead his party out of the darkness.
Gallego is a veteran of the War in Iraq. He was once willing to risk his life, or severe bodily injury for his country. The question now is: will he risk the wrath of the “Dem women (who) look like men” and the “Dem men (who) look like women” to save his own party, and perhaps his country, from a total descent into darkness?
