Pro-Life Activist Who Exposed Fetal Chop Chops for Profit is Exonerated After an 11 Year Court Battle

After nearly a decade of legal battles, pro-life investigator David Daleiden has emerged victorious. The final criminal charge against him has been dismissed and his record fully expunged, closing what many conservatives view as a politically motivated prosecution aimed at silencing one of the most consequential undercover journalists in the abortion debate.

Daleiden, founder of the Center for Medical Progress, first gained national attention in 2015 when he released undercover videos exposing Planned Parenthood’s involvement in the trafficking of aborted fetal body parts. The footage sparked outrage among pro-life Americans, raised serious ethical questions, and led to multiple investigations and policy consequences across the country.

Rather than focusing on the allegations raised in the videos, California officials—under then–Attorney General Kamala Harris—pursued Daleiden and his colleague Sandra Merritt with criminal charges. This signaled a troubling example of government overreach and selective prosecution designed to protect powerful institutions rather than uncover the truth.

Over time, the case against Daleiden steadily unraveled. Seven of the original 14 charges were dismissed early for lack of probable cause. In January 2025, California agreed to drop the remaining charges as part of a settlement that required no admission of wrongdoing, no jail time, no fines, and no probation. A minor misdemeanor plea was later converted to “not guilty,” dismissed, and ultimately expunged—bringing the case to a complete and final end.

Legal experts have sharply criticized the prosecution. Veteran attorney Steve Cooley called it one of the most blatant examples of vindictive and selective prosecution he had seen in decades, reinforcing the belief among conservatives that the justice system had been weaponized for political ends.

Meanwhile, Daleiden’s reporting had tangible impact. Two companies involved in the procurement of fetal tissue reached a $7.8 million settlement after admitting illegal activity. His work also contributed to Planned Parenthood losing funding in Texas and fueled a major federal case that could carry billions in liability.

For supporters, the conclusion of Daleiden’s case represents more than personal vindication—it is a victory for free speech, investigative journalism, and the right to expose wrongdoing without fear of government retaliation. With his record cleared, Daleiden has pledged to continue his work, focusing on what he calls the need to hold the abortion industry accountable and defend the most vulnerable.

Now, those running these fetal chop chops for profit need to be tried themselves, found guilty and imprisoned for life for their Mengele-an butchery. The abortion industry in America is demonic.
