A letter from over 50 current and former law enforcement officers attests that the so-called “chokehold” used by Derek Chauvin on serial felon George Floyd during his overdose death while in police custody in 2020 was a legal maneuver that was part of his training.
This was part of a 71-page petition sent to the Hennepin County District Court with Attorney Greg Joseph noting that “this case simply never made sense.” Joseph also stated that murders usually do not “take place before a crowd of witnesses” while fellow officers are assisting in detaining a criminal and procuring medical attention.
“The State alleged that Chauvin killed Floyd by asphyxiating him while he was on the ground being restrained and charged him with three offenses: Second Degree Unintentional Murder,” the petition states.
“Five years removed, this case simply never made sense. None of the officers here, including Chauvin, appeared to realize that a criminal act had been committed at all. Few murders take place before a crowd of witnesses while talking with emergency personnel over a police radio. But what truly set this case apart was that in most cases, the opposing sides argue about the facts, and whether there is room for reasonable doubt,” it continued.
Additionally, the petition notes that 34 former and current Minneapolis Police Department (MPD) officers as well as an additional 17 law enforcement officers made sworn statements that Chauvin’s maneuver to subdue Floyd was straight out of police training.
Chauvin was targeted at the height of Black Lives Matter mania, relentlessly demonized and crucified in the media before he could have a fair trial. Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison refused to release full police body cam footage in order to create a racially-charged fervor against Chauvin. He was eventually found guilty, and then he was viciously stabbed behind bars.
The crucifixion of Derek Chauvin was part of the humiliation ritual meant to demonize and demoralize white people as part of America’s descent into multiculturalism. Even many conservatives went along with this ruse out of cowardice and complicity. But now, the public is waking up to the nature of this cynical race scam and are rightfully calling for Chauvin’s release. Freeing Chauvin would show that America still has the rule of law, not the rule of the jungle.
