A 12-year old illegal alien named Pedro Luis was arrested in Lee County, Florida on two counts of armed robbery. Luis, a minor, allegedly attempted to rob two individuals at knife point.
The first incident occurred at about 6:40pm last Friday. While the victim was walking down Chattanooga Drive, Luis emerged from the bushes, waved a knife and shouted “Give me your shoes!” The victim successfully evaded Luis, after shoving him. As the victim was running away, they reportedly felt something hit them in the back. When the victim turned around, Luis was gone.
At about 6:46pm a report came in of another incident at Schandler Hall Community Park. The victim was playing at the park when Luis approached on a bicycle. Once again, Luis waved a knife and told the second victim he would stab them if they didn’t give Luis their backpack. Luis then stole the backpack, which contained $140 Air Pods, $150 cologne, a school-issued Dell laptop, cash and jeans worth $50. The backpack itself was worth $90.
It is unclear who Luis’s parents are, or their immigration status. According to public records, the address which is listed for Luis is a rental property owned by Wilson and Overland LLC. It is unclear who the current tenant is, or their possible relation to Luis.
As ICE continues efforts to remove illegal aliens, who never should have come here in the first place, from the country, it is unfortunate that illegal alien children are committing crimes. The parents who brought Luis to the US illegally are to blame for this crime. It would be cruel to deport Luis without his parents, so his mother and father should be returned to their country of origin with him.
