Former Federal Election Commission (FEC) Chairman Trey Trainor is running for U.S. House in Texas’ 21st Congressional District.
Even though Trainor served as the FEC Chairman during the election of 2020 and did nothing to prevent the tidal wave of election fraud that occurred that year, he advertises himself as a stalwart ally of President Trump. He also brags about his multiple decades as a conservative activist in the state of Texas.
“For more than two decades, Trey has been on the front lines defending the Constitution, protecting election integrity, and advancing conservative principles,” Trainor’s Congressional website states, adding that he “has remained grounded in Texas grassroots activism” working to “protect the voice of the people.”
In actuality, Trainor was working to protect the voice of green energy hustlers working to rip off the Texas taxpayer. Records obtained from the Texas Ethics Commission show that Trainer worked as a green energy lobbyist from 2008 through 2012, pushing for subsidies for various green scams during the era of Solyndra.
Records show that Trainor lobbied for firms such as Constellation Energy Group and Exelon Corporation. Constellation created a green financing scheme that funneled funds from “green bonds” toward energy storage systems. One of Exelon’s utilities commissioned a battery energy storage system (BESS) utilizing solar energy.
Other organizations Trainor lobbied for include E.ON Climate & Renewables, which pushes non-viable wind power. They were responsible for the infamous Roscoe Wind Farm in Texas, which is one of the largest wind farms in the world. They also have pushed solar power and energy storage solutions meant to push the U.S. toward a low-carbon future that would hurt the national economy immeasurably.
Other firms that Trainor lobbied for include Euros Energy America, Horizon Wind Energy, Iberdrola Renewables Inc., Renewable Energy Systems and Shell WindEnergy. It was not a mere aberration. Trainor was clearly heavily invested in using his conservative and legal bona fides to push for climate change policy. His record belies his boasts of being a MAGA Republican. Trainor cannot be trusted by the Republican voters in Texas’ 21st U.S. Congressional District.
