Wyoming Congresswoman Harriet Hageman, the MAGA favorite who crushed neocon Liz Cheney in the 2022 Republican primary, is now running for U.S. Senate after incumbent Cynthia Lummis announced her coming retirement.
In the announcement of her run for U.S. Senate, Hageman said: “President Trump’s America First movement made it popular to say you want to Make America Great Again, and he continues to deliver on that promise. It would be a great honor to keep advancing the America First agenda in the Senate, as it has been in the House… This fight is about making sure the next century sees the advancements of the last, while protecting our culture and our way of life. We must dedicate ourselves to ensuring that the next 100 years is the next great American century.”
Unsurprisingly, Hageman quickly received an endorsement from President Donald Trump for her run for U.S. Senate.
“I know Harriet well, and she is a TOTAL WINNER! Harriet has ALWAYS delivered for Wyoming, and will continue to do so in the United States Senate. She will fight tirelessly to Grow our Economy, Cut Taxes and Regulations, Promote MADE IN THE U.S.A., Advance American Energy DOMINANCE, Champion our Amazing Farmers and Ranchers, Keep our Border SECURE, Stop Migrant Crime, Support our Incredible Military/Veterans, and Defend our always under siege Second Amendment. Harriet Hageman has my Complete and Total Endorsement to be your next Senator — SHE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!” President Trump wrote in a Truth Social post.
Hageman will likely be another strong conservative addition to the U.S. Senate with the pedigree of already having slayed one of the worst RINOs in the history of Congress. The Cheney dynasty has been dethroned, and now the MAGA dynasty is free to reign in Wyoming.
