Jason Lewris, Co-founder of Parcl Labs (a real estate analytics firm) released a bombshell X thread about how hostile nations buy not only US farmland, but residential properties as well. China, Russia, Iran and North Korea are all buying US residential properties at an alarming rate, according to the report. And they are right next to some of the US miltiary’s most secure facilities.
Advanced networks of scouts pre-purchase homes and land years before they are transferred to official foreign government ownership. These scouts have purchased land in the following areas:
-China recent bought a trailer park that shares a fence with the Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri, where the US Air Force’s B2 Spirit Bomber fleet is located.
-China owns land next to Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in California, where Nuclear Deterrence, Energy Security and many other national security related matters are researched.
-China owns land near Luke Air Force Base. LUF is in Maricopa County, Arizona and is a major training base for Air Education and Training Command.
-China also owns land adjacent to Elon Musk’s SpaceX research centers, according to Lewris. “With direction implications for national defense and launch capabilities.”
-China also owns parcels of land near Elgin Air Force Base in the Florida panhandle. This is the headquarters of the 96th Test Wing, where Air Force weapons are tested for use in combat.
So why isn’t Washington doing anything? “Politics,” said Lewris. “This has devolved into a performative fight – an issue to posture on rather than solve.”
“Hearings won’t fix this. Only visibility will. @ParclLabs is mapping what no federal agency can currently see. And that blind spot is exactly where adversarial governments thrive. America can’t defend what it can’t see. Right now, we’re flying blind,” said Lewris.
What could China do with this intelligence? What does taking pictures of US Air Force pilots training have to do with National Security? These are fair questions.
Imagine this: China takes pictures of a young 2nd Lieutenant pilot trainee for the US Air Force. A young man in his early 20s. They use facial recognition to find out who he is. They follow him after a hard day of training in America’s most advanced fighter aircraft. They then see what bars he drinks at, what movies he watches, and perhaps even discover he’s seeing a young lady on the side that his wife doesn’t know about. In his mind, he is a dashing young fighter pilot, and his ego gets the better of him. This woman might even be a Chinese “honey pot” sent to corrupt him.
The young Air Force pilot then realizes that he shouldn’t be seeing this woman. He makes the moral Christian choice to totally cut off ties. But China has the pictures of him at a bar with this woman.
Fast forward 20 years. That young 2nd Lieutenant is now an Air Force Colonel, responsible for an entire airwing of fighters, leading men and women into battle. His youthful indiscretions are a thing of the past. But guess who remembers? China remembers. And when the People’s Liberation Army invades Taiwan, he is in command of an entire wing of over 70 combat aircraft to defend the island nation. Chinese intelligence then tells him, “We wouldn’t want those photos of you with a woman in a bar getting out, would we? You don’t want your grandchildren seeing you cheating on your wife? If you don’t want to see that, we need to know the American defense plans for a key ally.”
China is buying your houses, your farmland and your future. Congress must immediately wake up to this threat. If Congress does not act to prevent China, Iran, Russia and North Korea from buying our homes, we will not only lose the next world war, but we will be unable to prevent it.
