The battle over redistricting congressional maps is continuing in the lead-up to the 2026 midterms, with both California and Texas facing legal challenges. The Trump administration has sued California in response to the successful passage of Proposition 50, the Governor Gavin Newsom-sponsored initiative that gerrymanders the state’s congressional districts to favor Democrats. The Justice Department claimed that the new maps are racially biased in favor of Latinos. According to Jesus A. Osete, Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights said, “Californians were sold an illegal, racially gerrymandered map, but the U.S. Constitution prohibits its use in 2026 and beyond.”…

Representative Majorie Taylor Greene announced that she would be resigning from Congress effective January 5, 2026, after months of criticizing the Trump administration’s handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files. Greene’s resignation comes after President Donald J. Trump said he would support a primary challenger in her district “if the right person runs.” He further claimed that Greene had “gone Far Left” and dubbed her “Majorie ‘Traitor’ Greene” in a Truth Social post. While Democrats have long viewed Greene as a far-right boogeyman in U.S. politics, they have looked favorably on her break with President Trump over the Epstein files. This…
Antifa protesters and rioters continued their tradition of attempting to shut down conservative events on Monday, November 10th, targeting a Turning Points USA (TPUSA) gathering at UC Berkeley. Police maintained a heavy presence as antifa threw bottles and smoke bombs outside the event. At least three people were arrested in the aftermath, including someone aptly named Jihad, who started a fight with one of the attendees. Protesters chanted “Fuck your dead homie,” disparaging murdered TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk, at people waiting to enter the event. In the aftermath of Kirk’s assassination, many leftists claimed that he had brought it upon…
California State Senator Scott Wiener, who is running to replace retiring Congressman Nancy Pelosi in the House of Representatives, faced strong criticism for his transgender advocacy at a recent townhall event in San Francisco. Tish Hyman, who says that her membership at Gold’s Gym in Los Angeles was revoked after she complained about a man using the women’s locker room, sharply questioned Wiener on what he would do about protecting female-only spaces if he won the election to replace Pelosi. Wiener responded with a generic affirmation that he wanted everyone to be safe, and recited leftist talking points about trans…
Recently leaked Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) documents detailed a wishlist of the organization’s goals in New York City, now that one of their own, Zohran Mamdani, has been elected Mayor. Anti-Israeli sentiment factors heavily into the group’s goals, as they call for divesting pension funds from Israeli bonds, and for cancelling municipal contracts with Israeli companies. They also propose arresting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) officials for alleged war crimes. As a candidate, Mayor-elect Mamdani previously stated that his administration would arrest Netanyahu if he traveled to New York City. According to Mamdani, “This…
President Donald J. Trump has ramped up pressure on Senate Republicans to kill the filibuster, as Democrats drag out the government shutdown. Posting on Truth Social, Trump argued that if the GOP did not eliminate the filibuster, “FOR THREE YEARS, NOTHING WILL BE PASSED, AND REPUBLICANS WILL BE BLAMED. Elections, including the Midterms, will be rightfully brutal.” He further stated that if Republicans eliminated the filibuster, they would be able to smoothly approve their entire legislative agenda. Although Senate Majority Leader John Thune opposes the idea, some Senate Republicans have come out in support of Trump’s view. Senator Ron Johnson…
Microsoft founder and billionaire philanthropist Bill Gates has officially changed his tune on climate change. In a memo addressed to COP30, a United Nations global climate summit convening in Brazil, Gates described a “doomsday” view of climate change that claims, “In a few decades, cataclysmic climate change will decimate civilization.” Responding to this outlook, Gates stated, “Fortunately for all of us, this view is wrong.” While Gates reiterated his view that climate change is a meaningful problem, he also pointed out the obvious fact that as countries modernize, they use more energy. A monomaniacal focus on climate change, therefore, would…
Proposition 50, California Governor Gavin Newsom’s initiative to make the famously liberal state even bluer, is currently favored to pass in statewide polls. Dubbed the “Election Rigging Response Act,” Prop 50 is a gerrymandering measure designed to redraw California congressional districts in order to favor Democrats even more than the present districts, which are already favorable. Governor Newsom has bluntly cast the proposition as necessary to stymie President Donald J. Trump’s agenda in 2026, regurgitating talking points casting Trump as a dictator. Newsom has ratcheted up his rhetoric as his campaign for Prop 50 comes to close, saying, “God help…
President Donald J. Trump has decided not to move forward with a National Guard deployment to San Francisco, following a conversation with the city’s mayor, Daniel Lurie. While stating that he believed he could fix things in the city “much faster,” President Trump said he would see how Lurie did, implying that the question could be revisited at a later date. Lurie, for his part, said that he welcomed increased local police coordination with federal law enforcement, but spoke out against what he called militarized immigration enforcement in the city. Lurie was elected mayor on a law-and-order platform, and he…
California State Senator Scott Wiener, known for authoring numerous state bills promoting transgenderism, prostitution, and drug use, has announced that he will be running for Rep. Nancy Pelosi’s seat in Congress next year. Wiener, who previously served as a San Francisco city supervisor, is known largely for his advocacy of building taller new housing, which puts him at odds with the city’s historically anti-development Left. More importantly for national purposes, though, he is also the proponent of just about every horrible cultural leftist idea known to man. He was responsible for a bill de facto legalizing prostitution in California, banning…
